I am clinically obsess according to bmi guides and 5/10 before on my life changing condition was much lighter! I also have mental health issues and I follow a routine of taking olanzapine in small measures. However as time has gone by my weight has risen from 13 stone to 19 stones! Now I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis that greatly affects ankles and lower back. All my life I have mostly followed a healthy life style teetotal mostly and one main moderately portioned hot meal a day however has any one currently taking blood thinners for PM and antidepressants cause an increase in weight?

Middle aged Overweight but following a healthy lifestyle
Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Bellthomas 😊
This is a peer to peer support group so I’m afraid no-one is qualified to give you medical advice but I hope someone in a similar position will be able to help
You will have been given links to Pinned Posts when you first joined but I am also going to tag you in the Welcome Newbies post which gives lots of links and information to help you. Please read this are fully as it will guide you around the workings of this Forum.
For your own privacy and safety online we suggest that you lock your posts by selecting ‘only community members’ when you write a new post. See our security post especially as your post isn’t locked
This is a very busy forum with lots going, and nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start.
Best Wishes in your weight loss journey

Good morning, Bellthomas, and welcome
It may be that your medication plays a part so do discuss that with your prescriber. You can also do an online search on all your medication.
Apart from that, if you have been following a healthy lifestyle and still gaining weight, I would say you need to consider whether it truly is healthy. Many of us arrive here after doing our best to follow "the rules" and yet still gaining weight. At some point, you need to question "the rules", rather than yourself.
