Hi and welcome, Losefat :)

Only your GP/physio/osteopath/chiropractor will be able to answer that question, but you will still be able to lose weight, either way.

Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary.

Hi, Losefat , welcome.

Being lean, fit and healthy will give you the best chance to do anything you want to do.

I was disabled for half a decade - but, now that I have lost weight and have a new pacemaker, I walk 30 to 40 km per week.

My Nephew had an accident - and he was able to walk five years later.

Have yo thought about cycling?

Weight loss is not all about motivation and masochism - if you "slim smart" it is not so hard!

Many of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:

I've got arthritis in the back and the best advice I can give you is movement is everything pilates will help you no end as it strengthens the core and so helps the back, gentle walking for cardio helps and low impact workouts from Team Body Project helps too check with your gp before doing anything
