I'm new here. I was just wondering if any one had an issue with sweating. Had lots of tests, which have come back normal, would appreciate any advice.

Hi jpk1957 and welcome.

This forum is for those looking to lose weight and ordinarily I'd say that your best option would be to see a medical professional.

Would I be correct in guessing that you've posted here because you're overweight and think that may have something to do with the sweating?

Hi and welcome, jpk1957 :)

There are many reasons for sweating, being very overweight, some medications can cause it, menopause and thyroid problems are some. You say you've had lots of tests, which means you've obviously been to your GP about this issue. My advice would be to get a copy of your test results, so that you can see what you've been tested for and what your results were. You can fall within a 'normal' range for some, but that isn't optimal for you. This forum will be able to help you with thyroid, vitamin and mineral issues healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk

I had a problem sweating for years mine was caused through polyps in my womb only discovered with an ultrasound after having pelvic pain not all the time.

So if you have any other symptoms no matter how slight may be worth noting and mentioning to gp and insisting on further investigations.

My top end sweats, feet cold. Told my GP I needed my radiator flushing. Made him laugh, but otherwise not a lot of help. Just one of things I guess. If all the tests have come back negative, then perhaps that is how you are.
