Non scale victories

Some of you may recall me posting some weeks back about buying a size 12 pair of jeans that crushed my insides but I wanted to buy for the future. I’m pleased to report I wore those jeans out yesterday for a day of shopping 😃

What are some of your non scale victories recently?

I bought a jacket last Autumn (a bit snug) just got it back out now the weather is turning and it fits lovely! x

Woop woop, great to hear this! I tried on my winter knee boots from last year this week. I was surprised to find they were too big around the calf!! Couldn’t believe it.

Not getting so out of puff climbing up the hill, even though I’m not really exercising any more than I was. And not grunting as I get up from kneeling or out of the chair😂

And having to buy a belt and today needed to tighten further😊

They really are so motivating, and also why those jeans will be in the charity bag as soon as I’ve gone down another size and replaced them. I’m not going to be keeping the clothes that are comically too big “just in case” I regain the weight. This fat is gone for good!

I’ve been focusing on physio & rehab since my ankle fusion in April and can now walk one mile briskly, use my exercise bike for 15 minutes continuously and my weight remains the same. I’m feeling positive about the future 😊
