Hi everybody, I'm 35 years old male, i' m 89kg aiming to loose about 8 kgs, how many carbs and proteins on average should I eat a day to loose only fat whiteout loosing muscle mass.

First of all, I would check out your calorie target using the NHS BMI checker and make sure that you’re eating enough. Then I would base your meals around good quality ingredients, full fat products and no synthetic ‘diet’ foods. Many people find lower carbohydrates suit them, see the DietDoctor website for more help with this, but it’s important to eat good healthy fats or you will be hungry. It’s always worthwhile keeping an accurate food diary too, to see where changes can be made.
