Hey Chepsol,

Like you I have fallen off the waggon (badly!). Lost over 8 stone in 2016 to achieve my goal with Weight Watchers. Kept within target range for about 18 months then gradually all the bad habits crept back. Now scared to get weighed but determined to get back in control. Maybe we can support each other?

Great, well I got off to a good start over the weekend. Planning recipes for week, shopping and cooking healthy on Sat and Sunday. I find it difficult during the week as I travel for work but am determined to try and stay in control. What is your approach?

Chepsol profile image
Chepsol1kg in reply to JLos

I too plan for my meals(and cook) on Sundays. My weekdays are extremely busy. Planning also helps me stay on course and not get distracted as happened in the past.

I hope you have a great healthy diet day. Shall we check-in later to see how it's gone?

It's great to see you buddying up for the journey :) How about you both post your plans on the Daily Diary and get involved with sharing ideas there, too?

Hi Chepsol, sorry I didn't check back yesterday - got back from work late. Really happy that I managed to stick to my plan, despite being in a situation where I normally fall off the waggon - long drive, stressful sessions to lead at work, long drive back and no time to cook. Luckily, I had leftovers from my WW meal the night before so that was fine! How was your day?

Hi JLos, great to hear from you. Being day 1 of course has its challenges especially on portion management and keeping cravings at bay. I managed well though by sticking to my meal plan. One day at a time..

Hi, I know how you feel it’s so frustrating trying to lose weight, and I’ve been on so many diets, I’ve joined on here today, to get support and advice from others in the same situation as me.

Hi, welcome to the club. To say it's frustrating is an understatement but am positive that this time I will hack it a day at a time.

Hi Lytham, I just weighed-in on the Friday weigh-in. Was hard to get weighed as I haven't been near the scales for months! Anyway, not too bad - I am 13.9 and have set a goal of 10.7 by Christmas!

Hope your week is going well.
