Feeling quite proud of myself!

After falling off the wagon Friday I was determined to be back to normal asap. So yesterday (Saturday) the kids and I were meeting my mum and going into town for my optician appointment. Usually I am a morning person but my appointment wasn't until 4pm.

So, in order to not break my calories, we had dinner at 12 noon instead of lunch and then I made myself a back-up packed lunch (half a peanut butter sandwich and a curly wurly).and took it with me.

Well, my mum as usual wanted to stop somewhere for a bite to eat. This was about 5pm now. Anyways I ate my sandwich and curly wurly whilst the rest of the family had buffalo wings, chicken strips, chips, dips, salad etc etc! I didn't feel hungry as I was happy with my own food but I still got to join in and socialise!

And as if that wasn't enough !! My mum then took us to a gelato dessert shop! You know, one of those places dedicated to ice cream and waffles and toppings, cream and sprinkles! It was a little tempting! I was looking at the Oreo cookie ice cream! But yes!! I resisted!! So I am pretty darn impressed with myself!!!

This is so good to read! Knew you'd be back on it straight away! Well done for being so organised and resisting those gelatos, that must have been so hard!

Still on holiday! Had a good day food wise yesterday but then had a few glasses of prosecco with an old friend 😬

Organisation definitely helps! As does routines! In my trusty little book of calories, meals and plans I have plans for off work days, plans for cinema, plans for when-visiting-my-mother, and plans for having a take away night but still staying within calorie limits. Lol

Of course, not everything goes to plan! But I do try and this time I managed to stick to it! Haha

Can't always stick to a plan, but it sounds like you stick to it more than you don't. I love the fact that you've got it all listed though, good idea!
