I may have found the ultimate motivation.

At least I hope so. I’ve heard that losing just one pound is the equivalent of four pounds off of the knees. And my knees could definitely use less pressure on them. I’d also like to try icing them more, to give them some extra TLC. :)

I've heard that, too. Definitely an incentive!

Are you finding your way around? How about joining a weekly weigh-in and using the Daily Diary. They are both great places for sharing the support that is the big benefit of being a member of the forum. You can always check back to the welcome post your were given when you joined, and this will help healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

I do have a weigh-in app actually. I also have an app called Twin Body, which makes note of my start and current weights. These can always be updated Plus, I can add things such as quotes or pictures, anything to

I’ve heard people say they don’t want to know the number on the scale, but I think for me, it’s a good thing to keep in mind.

Thanks so much!

I did do an Easter challenge months ago, but this could be interesting!

Lytham ran the Easter challenge. I'll let her tell you what she's up to now but please read through that link I've given you so you can start working out where everything is and get involved in the life of the forum :) It explains about the weigh-ins, Daily Diary etc, what they're for and how they work. And how to find the current challenges, which are always in Pinned Posts

Hi oh there's loads going on like BridgeGirl says, but I think the best place to start would be to weigh in with us today and become a Wednesday Wobbler with us, here's the link, hope to see you there! :-) x

It's down to the amount of force across a surface area. The other option is to increase the size of your knees ;)

Good luck and maybe see you in the Daily Diary :)

Haha I’ll definitely go with less force! I had knee surgery a few years ago so I wanna keep them both strong and thanks!!

A pretty strong incentive methinks! :)

Have you joined a weigh in day yet? Tomorrows is open now if you'd like to weigh in? Think of the loss you could be reporting next week! Here's the link, hope to see you there :-)

Thank you!

Thanks for this - just heard I have arthritis in my knees. It’s at a very early stage, but I am only in my 40s. So yes, I too will be motivated by protecting my knees in my weight loss - as well fitting into my clothes.
