Mid range fitness tracker

I have been in need of a new tracker since my dearly beloved fitbit one passed away several months ago.

I could not afford a new fitbit, so got a cheap one off the net. In fact I got two. One was a gift and cost about £5 and one I bought was about £23.

The £5 one didn't count steps at all and the £23 one was wildly inaccurate and seemed to work on swinging your arm like the old mechanical ones.

So I took a chance on a Garmin vivofit 3 ( £44) and it is really good!! I have just taken it out on it's maiden voyage and twice I counted out 1,000 steps and it was within 15 both times.

It has a battery life of around 18 months and no charging it because it is flat.

I have used google fit and it is good. I am not very 'techie' but like the sleep monitor and various other bits on the 'strap' type tracking. Plus I wanted something I could just look down on throughout the day without getting my phone out... and i needed a new watch 😂

Well I couldn’t get quite the same model, and the newer one didn’t get great reviews so I’ve ordered a Hawaiwei Honor Band 4. It met my specifications (watch type strap, navy blue and available in UK for delivery in a few days) so I shall let you know. 😊

First I need the go ahead to ditch my crutches, X-ray on Wednesday, fingers crossed 👍🤞😊

Let me know how you get along with the Honor band, I could do with finding one for OH. And best of luck ditching the pesky crutches!! I have all things crossed for you! ... even my eyes. 🤞👀
