I am using mfp, it gives me a much lower daily allowance compared to the suggested one on the NHS calculator. I cant overwrite mfp....I assume I just ignore and work on my own allowance.

I use that app to. It works for me, plus I can change how many calories I want to consume.

I'm pretty sure you can override mfp's settings - maybe someone will explain how - but, yes, you're better off sticking to the NHS advice on your calorie range.

Cronometer gives you the content and the calories which helps you see what your really gives to your body in terms of nutritions (types of vitamins, of proteines, of fats, etc...).
