Hello and welcome to the forum Molehill 😊
I also have arthritis and losing weight has helped. I’ve also changed how I eat, please read these for a different approach

Hi Molehill,
Welcome to the forum
I obviously don’t know your budget but with a health condition like arthritis it might be an idea to meet a personal trainer. I’ve done this through my gym, I meet him once a month for an hour and he tailors a programme to meet my needs health wise. It costs me £30 for a session. As part of my healthy diet/weight loss I gave up drinking alcohol, I was drinking at least one bottle of wine a week sometimes two and spending around £6-£8 per bottle so this basically pays for my PT session. Other than that your GP may also be able to refer you to a physio or some groups for people who have the same condition to offer advice. X
Hi molehill,
I also have osteoarthritis in my 1 knee and the other plays up every now and then. I was told surgery was the only way to get rid of it. Has anyone offers you physio on it? I was shown how to use sports tape to push my knee cap over and help support the knee, but you can’t use it forever it’s only temporary. Also voltarol helps. And I have been taking the glucosamine tablets they are working wonders and haven’t had pain for ages. Support pull on knee things might help if not.
Hope this helps Clare
