Morning all. It’s my first time here and it’s day one. Done my weigh in and was as depressing as expected. At least that’s the worst it will be. Onwards and downwards!

Hiya, good luck with the weight loss, you have found the right place for the help and advice when needed, I'm finding it different to any other diets I have ever been on, this is a healthy lifestyle change for me which was long overdue, I am making small changing every couple of weeks or so to keep me from going back to my old ways and I haven't lost a large amount since joining but its a steady loss which I should be able to keep off if my eating/excersize habits become the norm.
So far my changes are, ditched the biscuits, at least a 30 minute walk every evening, cut out my every evening alcohol to just the occasional social drink, at the moment I am cutting down on bread, I'm still eating it but not has much, so unlike before when paying to lose weight and starving myself to the target given, I am taking the long road to a healthy lifestyle

Yep- my first day too! Can’t believe how much I weigh and how much I have to lose! Like you, I thought ‘ Onwards and downwards’- it must be a sign!
For 60 years of my life I’ve been a size 10 or less and for the last 3 years a size 14! The menopause is a sneaky so and so as I’ve had no other problems whatsoever and I’ve never found it so hard to lose weight!
Let’s support each other along the way. I’m going to up the exercise and stop the snacking.
