Hello a bit about why I am here

Hi I am 34 mum at maternity leave I want to change my relation with food. My problem is emotional eating and rewarding myself with food. I have about 27 kg to loose. I was eating unhealthy all my life but exercising kept me thin for a long but not anymore. When I start working I didn't have time or strength to exercise so much and eating very late with my husband romantic dinners didn't help. This time I want to change my eating hubits. I know only exercising will not resolve my problem.

Good morning, Mallenka, and welcome to the forum 😊

Many congratulations on becoming a mum and I hope you are enjoying your maternity leave

You're right that it's what you eat that plays the major part in weight gain and loss. In the first year after your baby, your body is doing a lot of adjusting and, particularly if you are breast feeding, it's important that you don't cut calories too far or too fast. You could look at getting rid of unprocessed foods and sweet stuff, and to building up health fats in your meals so they keep you feeling full and satisfied.
