Hi,

I do Pilate and keep fit once a week, this is about the only excercise I get, is this enough per week to help with my weight loss or should I do more x

Hello Our4kids and congrats at your weight loss to date and for the activity you're doing.

The NHS suggests trying to achieve 150 minutes a week. We're all different and for some that can be difficult and for others they may be quite happy and willing to achieve more. Activity helps the body stay healthier, however, weight loss comes mostly from managing what we eat and drink.

As you're already getting involved in activities, feel free to join in the 'Kicking the K's' & 'Time to Get Moving' challenges which you will find under 'Pinned Posts' if you click on 'See All'.

If you do have a look (especially at the Time to Get Moving) you'll notice that activity doesn't necessarily have to be structured but could be anything that gets the heart rate beating faster, from fast walking (to the shops, work etc) to cleaning the house (yuck!).

Good luck :)

Any movement is good Our4kids 😊. I presume you are also walking around through the day? Doing housework etc? However, for weight loss it’s more about what you eat, but I see you are doing well in that area also 😊
