New here


Hi I'm new here been off and on diets fir years, lost weight put double back on but never really went over a certain weight always up to a size 22 so many times but then I became ill and was put on steroids and these really made me pile the weight on now I'm a size 30 and was still getting bigger. I realise this has to stop. I know it's not exactly how much I'm eating but what I'm eating and when I'm eating., I don't eat breakfast and skip lunch most days but then eat evening meal and eat at 11pm or even 1am with a bowl of crunchy nut cereal, or a packet of biscuits, I binge eat. I am now going to try to eat 3 meals a day with nothing in between

You're right that it's the type of food that you're choosing to eat, as they will cause you to crave and binge. Have a look at these and see if they can get you back on track. Ignore the reference to age, it applies to all

Good to have you on board, person of the many numbers! Weightloss may sometimes be hard when you have health issues but the rewards also tend to be greater. Best of luck!

I have just signed up too. It is quite daunting to embark on WeightLoss but the point is, we are here, so we have the desire to do it, we just need to stay motivated and seek out good advice and support from our fellow dieters. Good luck !

Thanks for the welcome. I had a good excuse for being away so long. Following routine screening to was discovered I had bowel cancer. So I had major surgery this time last year. I was extremely lucky that it was diagnosed early and had not spread. I made a spectacular recovery after surgery and I am very well, but I am around a stone heavier than I should be, there’s no rush but I would love to lose it by the summer.
