Hi most weight loss is through what you eat rather than exercise- I managed to loose just under 2 stone in 4-5months and the only exercise I did was walking- brisk walking but just walking. Quite a few forum members have physical disabilities which make it difficult to exercise and they have still lost weight- its slower but still achievable.
Welcome to the forum you will get a lot of support and don't hesitate to ask a question- there will always be someone who will respond with what worked for them. Everyone is different and what work for one won't work for another its finding what fits in with your lifestyle and what works for you- try it and see
