Hi can anyone tell me the best low calorie fruits are ., and any other low calorie snacks too ??

I am not sure that fruits are the best way to go as they contain lots of sugar.. however, i eat apples, pears, blueberries and fresh peaches, strawberries and apricots but the key is to keep to one portion.. one portion of a banana is usually only half a banana because it is full of sugar. use the calorie counter to check how many calories are in the food.
Lately I have had veggie snacks to go to.. such as carrot sticks or celery sticks.. I also eat raw peas and beans as a snack too...as well as beetroot. I think you just have to be careful with fruit and make sure you count it properly in your diet and if you want to include it - dont have too much as it will affect your sugar intake. Good luck!! This healthy eating plan is a complete learning curve!
Hi, I'd say it's best to think in terms of your overall eating plan and where fruit and snacks will fit it. The Daily Diary will help you with all that, coming up with meal plans, pinching other people's ideas and getting useful feedback.
Berries have the least carbs: I'm not sure about calories: you could Goggle your favourites and see what you come up with.
As for snacks, try as far as possible to get your calorie allowance into your meals so that eating between meals becomes less and less necessary. Nuts are a good option, as they are filling without giving you a more, more, more feel that sugary snacks give.

Good luck

Hi Timber12. I buy bags of frozen berries. The pack has all the nutrition info printed on the back. If you weigh your portion, then microwave for 1 minute, that gives a lovely snack..... even lovelier when you add Greek yoghurt and flaked almonds !
It is a bit of a bother, weighing things, BUT, it means you know exactly what you are eating.
Good Luck on your WeightLoss Journey.🍀
Oooh that sounds lovely . Thanks very much xxx
