Hi Gail. I've tried Slimfast in the past but I didn't really get anywhere with it and didn't lose weight because I didn't feel that I'd eaten properly so was hungry. I have a feeling the calories are quite low too (I might be wrong). If I remember rightly it also gave me terrible wind (tmi lol). A friend of mine tried something similar for a few months and lost a shed load of weight but yo-yoed back up again afterwards. I'm not sure that it's a sustainable weight loss tool. Rx

I also looked at it but there is a lot of sugar added so I didn’t buy it.

I tried it but for me it didn't work out.

It won't be sustainable for life Bungiecat - do you really want to exist on shakes for ever? As soon as you stop them and start eating again, I can guarantee that the weight will go back on. I wouldn't be putting money into the pockets of the company, I would be spending it on some nutritious, tasty food :)

There really is no quick fix. Concentrate on healthy eating and finding a way that works for you. Meal times should be something to look forward to and enjoyed with tasty food :)

Just my personal feeling of course.

I used them in the past, lost some weight with them but they are very sweet and I much prefer 'real food' to be honest. Soups would be a better choice (home made soup, that is), the veggies in them keep you nice and full and if you add in lentils you have some good protein in there. Try soup recipes in a search engine, loads of good recipes out there. Whatever you choose, I wish you all the best with it! :-)
