Hi I am complete novice who needs some guidance and support I have a couple of stones to loose as a result of eating too much and doing too little due to a lot,of stress resulting in anxiety. Sure I’m not alone This is all very new to me and I’m not very good at asking for help as I am usually the support for others. Also I think this is the first time I have actually admitted that I am very anxious as I usually just blunder along. Sure that is familiar with a lot of you too. My self esteem is pretty low which I think the menopause and weight gain is fuelling. Any advise is welcome thank you 😊

Thank you think it will be quite the journey. Starting with trying to navigate the site as I’m not very technical to say the least! 😋

Hi and welcome, Yorksgal :)

The way you're feeling will probably ring true for a lot of us, but being here, with like-minded and similarly focused people, will help, I have no doubt :)

As you've mentioned the menopause, have a look at this and see if you feel it may apply to you (not the age reference ;) ) healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

What you say certainly rings bells with me :)

You don't have to be very technical to find your way around. Use the link moreless has given you; I'd suggest you find your way to the weigh-in first of all - being part of a team to get - and give, that's equally important - support with a regular group will make you feel involved. Then look out the Daily Diary for help with planning your meals. Have a look at all the recipes and start trying something new - make it enjoyable, which it truly is. And have a look at all the challenges and clubs in Pinned Posts. Take your time, there is such a lot here for you, to help you on your way.
