Well and truly off track last couple of days. No excuses just being a greedy pig!!

I need a kick up the bum. I know why I want /need to lose weight and the last 3 weeks shows I can do it. I’m just being bloody stupid!!!

I will do some prepping/planning tonight once the kids are in bed.

BACK ON TRACE FROM NOW!!!!

These things happen and it probably won't be the last time (that's not a pass to have another bash though :) ). Draw a line under it, it's happened and now you can continue.

Some things that I do (or do when I'm doing things right) ...

Don't let anything pass your lips until you have made a note of the calories and you've subtracted that from your daily total and you can see how many that leaves you with for the day

Drink lots of water and keep drinking

As part of this evening's planning, why not log your menu in the Daily Diary, you may be surprised at how much easier it is to stick to things when you've said them out aloud

How about changing your profile name to something more positive. Even simple things like this can help change our mindset and attitude.

There's always more things we can do but try changing a few things at a time and making them stick.

Glad you're back on track, you can do this!

You can do this Becks, deep breath and jump back onto the wagon, here is a helping hand 🤝

Everyone has blips, being successful doesn't mean not tripping up now and again, it means picking yourself back up afterwards 😊

Cheering you on 😊🎉🎖

The good thing is that you have written this post and that will help you keep positive. Just remember that you have not ruined anything in a couple of days if you stop now. Draw a line as Tiggerr says and go back to basics. Someone suggested writing all the reasons we want to lose weight down and keep referring to them regularly, which is such a good idea. I find making a big pan of veggie soup really helps to satisfy those times we feel munchy.

Good luck

I’m going to write down the reasons tonight whilst planning. Thanks muffin

We all get times we feel like that. Start afresh tomorrow.

We all have those "moments..." Beckseatstoomuch you'll see that not just me but quite a few others have had some major mishaps this week - well I certainly have to put my hand up for a major blip today! :( so very best of luck to you and hope all goes well for the next week! :)

Thanks clematisa1, good luck to you too.

It's all part of the rollercoaster that is known as losing weight. I'm almost at the end of week nine and no dramas as of yet. Having said that I am under no illusions that things are going to stay that way. Past experience shows that I will come a cropper a good few times on my journey and I am wary of that and ready for it.

My tips would be, remember that you are human and you have done nothing that we all haven't done at sometime and will do again. Never feel guilty about anything you put in your mouth that you feel you shouldn't have. Enjoy it and move on. It has taken me 35 years to realise that just because I ate a share size bag of crisps that doesn't mean I've ruined everything for that week so may as well pack as much rubbish as I can before I restart again the following Monday. I realise now that excuse was nothing more than a cop out. :)
