Enjoying a new body 'landscape'

As the weight disappears, I'm finding some of the changes fascinating.

Instead of hard, lumpy areas, things are softening and getting easier to get a hold of. I can now look down on narrower knees and ankles. When I fold my arms, I no longer feel a bit smothered as I used to. It's all quite exciting!

Anyone else celebrating the little changes that weight loss brings?

There are bits of me that are rather resistant e.g. I still can't fit in smaller trousers but the legs have got baggy so I've bought a more fitted pair, supposedly skinny - now there's a laugh :D . Also, I can't see much change in my face but I can feel that I have a bone structure that must have been buried, unknown to me.

It's great to see progress, not just numbers on the scales, isn't it! I've now got a spare tyre instead of a overall big tummy and have a bit of a waist once more so need to use a belt to keep my jeans up. Still no change in the fat thighs (but, looking at photos of me as a baby, I had enormous thighs even then!)

Initially it was only noticeable in my face, and my head 'started' looking out of proportion to the rest of me, which finally caught up some while later.

yes I know what you mean Dodowings ! I find i can cross my legs much more easily, where at my biggest the top leg sometimes felt like it was slipping off the bottom one ha! I can reach my toes a little easier for polishing them with less belly in the way! And my neck looks miles longer, cheekbones re-emerging and jawline sharpening .. it's exciting stuff haha!

My landscape is burried under too much of the F word for me to notice any bodily changes and I think it will be sometime before it is discovered. However like an archaeologist I will keep digging and eventually I am sure that buried treasure will begin to emerge :D

Having said that I am noticing very small changes occurring in how I cope with certain every day tasks and challenges which is what is more important to me right now :)

Yes, Justsharon, I know exactly what you mean. For weeks I only saw changes on the scales.

Love the image of buried treasure; brilliant! :-)

It will be like treasure to me as I cannot remember far enough back to when I was aware I had bones and some sort of shape :D
