First jog in my life!!!

So I have finally taken the plunge after years and decided to attempt the c25k! First jog done, I feel exhausted and when you take into account in total that it was only 8 minutes jogging it has shown me just how unfit I am!!

Proud to have completed first jog and am hoping to stick with the plan. X

Yes, I have three stone to lose to get to a healthy BMI - one down, two to go! I've been slow to add exercise to my healthy eating but have made more efforts since the new year, mainly walking and swimming, and doing something most days of the week.

I've looked at c25k but that's as far as I've got with it - not yet made it off the c! So I'm impressed with anyone who takes it on :)

Being honest I downloaded the app last year and never used it just deleted it but thought enough is enough. With being on SW i’m at the stage where I need to exercise now to lose weight, hit a bit of a plateau so needs must.

Your doing fab, well done to you xx

True, sometimes we need a bit of a change to get things moving :)

Hope it goes well for you - so many people here get real satisfaction from it that maybe I'll take a look at it again when the weather is a bit more promising.

Woo-hoo! Great achievement Hidden ! I personally use jogging/running as my main exercise, with walking accompanied.

I've been doing this journey properly for 3 and a bit months now, at the start of it, I could barely walk quickly for 5 minutes without needing a rest. Now I can jog almost 3km in one sitting.

Stick with it, I find it really helpful for me, I always feel productive after some exercise.

Thanks for the encouragement, I need it, I hope to get to the stage where I can jog without needing a break.

Well done to you for sticking with it, sounds like you are doing fab! X

No remember eight minutes ,that's eight minutes more than you have ever done .

Just do what's best and at your own pace.

Take care and good luck with your weight loss journey.
