Ansteyward107 welcome to the site! One of the administrators will soon appear and give you all the starting information but I just wantd to say welcome and you have come to the right place - everyone here is so friendly and supportive and I find it really helps knowing that I am going to be recording what I am eating on this site. Being house bound must be very challenging, but hopefully with the help and support on this site, you can make a difference to how you feel. Good luck!

Hi and welcome, Ansteyward :)

There's no doubt that losing weight will make you feel better and having the support of your family, will be a big help.

If snacking is your problem and you're housebound, make sure you have nothing in the house that you shouldn't be eating and that's one problem dealt with :)

Exercise isn't essential for weight loss, but is good for general health and well-being, so consider moving more around the house and/or armchair exercises, if possible.

Take up some hobbies, to prevent boredom eating, logging onto this site is an excellent way to keep you occupied.

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link
