I’ve been a binge-eater for most of my life. I’m now 50 and was diagnosed - following lots of self-help I hasten to add - 14 months ago. The relief was immense as I finally realised I had an under lying driver to my bingeing. Im as fit as a flea and always have been which has kept me the right side of obese but the mental exhaustion and frustrations caused by my bingeing were indescribable. I hate being overweight but seemed to revel in being so. Now I understand it I’m working through rebuilding me.
I have an excellent career which is about the only thing that I haven’t wrecked but am now turning my life around and who knows how far I can get. I love healthy eating and always have so now my ‘head’ is being worked on hopefully the binges will cease to undermine everything.
