Hello I'm new to this community and I just wanted to say that I started trying to lose weight in May or June of this year (2017) and I've lost about 16 pounds since then and I know that's not a lot but you gotta celebrate the small victories too but lately it's been soo hard for me to keep off the carbs because of what time of year it is. Currently, my weight goal is to lose 20 more pounds so wish me luck. :)

Welcome and Congratulations! :)

It is tricky this time of year, I suppose the trick is not to feel you're deprived while not going too far overboard. Slow is just fine and it's a lot more than you would have lost if you hadn't done anything!

I've just joined too and I think 16 pounds is terrific - you're nearly half way to your goal! I am aiming to lose 28 pounds having lost 6 so I'm hoping to catch you up!! Good luck!
