Today, for the first time in a year, my boots are zipped all the way to the top! They are tight, I may be cutting circulation off to my lower legs and feet but they are zipped to the top. Those of you with big calves will know this feeling, even in my ‘skinny’ days as a teenager I’ve always had big calves, seems I’ve passed them to the toddler too (cue meltdown in Clark’s because she couldn’t have the boots that looked like rabbits) so to be able to finally fasten them properly means more to me than other non-scale victories. Incidentally I’m also back in my jeggings today without feeling like I’m being chopped in half, which is probably more of a victory but for me it’s all about the boots 😃

Exactly! I’ve got wide feet too, I’ve often threatened to cut off a couple of toes to make pretty shoes fit. 👠👡👢

Yeay!! I have huge legs even when size ten many years ago! Getting back into my boots is one of my main reasons for losing weight.

Ha ha ha well yes I also have similar issues with expensive footwear. But I find I generally can get away with primark... I’m one extreme to the other x

I feel your pain... hardly any boots fit me unless they are very substantially elasticated! But WELL DONE you... must be feeling pretty good

Thank you. These are elasticated and have a zip detail on the outside which can be loosened for extra space too... lol. Xx
