Getting started again

Hi joined a while back but was feeling I was failing to loose weight. I belong to a gym and go at least twice a week. I work nights In a care home for dementia patients and have diabetes. I also have crumbling Kneebones which are painful. I need to be more motivated. This time I am going to stick to my goals. I am in Denmark until tomorrow. Then hide the marzipan. and get fit and thinner lol. Truth be told I have eaten healthy here. On!y 2 small marzipan bars. Plenty of veg, but no gym.

Hi and welcome, unmotivated :)

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

You'll find all the information you need to navigate the forum in the header, so please take the time to read it carefully.

Wishing you all the best :)

Welcome and good luck! :) You can do this! :D

Welcome! :)

Tricky working in a care home with dodgy knees. I would suggest you have a look for low impact exercise. I like swimming, but there's all sorts of stuff out there. Good luck. :)

Welcome aboard - are you sure your name is correct? You sound quite motivated to me and being in a positive motivated mindset will prove to be a great asset.

I know what you mean about marzipan - i love it, or I used to. I now find it far too sweet which I guess is a good thing!

Welcome unmotivated.

I'm a big fan of marzipan... even been known to make my own, although for once, I prefer shop bought.

Good luck with your new journey.
