Try to change to be healthy

Hi. I am Nur, 26 years old. I have been gradually gaining weight and today, just took the BMI test again. Am aware that I am obese. Yes, I am. But, just realized that my BMI is already 40; which is way unhealthy. I have PCOS which I have been blaming for few years now as a reason for me gaining weight. But, now, I want to change. I want to be healthy. I hope to have some guide and support here. :)

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Nur91 😊

Well done on taking that first, most important step. I hope you enjoy the forum and find it useful, and that weight loss helps your PCOS.

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You'll find all the information you need to navigate the forum in the header and a link to the 12 week plan, so please take the time to read it carefully.

Wishing you all the best

Anna

Welcome Nur91 to this forum. Start by computing your daily calorie range and work with it by eating healthy and nourishing food that will keep you full longer and curb the cravings. If possible, reduce your carbohydrate intake (rice, potatoes, wheat etc) and increase your protein, healthy fats and veggie intake. Prepping your food in advance would be great too.

All the very best!

Hi matets. :)

Thank you very much for your advice. Will work for it starting today. Hope I'll be healthy and stop making excuses about my weight. Can't wait to weigh myself this afternoon to know my starting weight and start setting up goals and plan for it. Thanks again everyone. I'm not feeling lonely anymore in this. Really grateful for this forum.
