Doing great after having high ac1 over a 1 1/2 yrs ago. I’ve lost 180 pounds. My blood pressure is normal again. The doctor has high hope soon I will not be a diabetic any more. But will have to keep watch over my carbs always. It’s been over 5 days no insulin. Still have about 70 more lose. But still journal my foods and watching what size. I keep my food measure cups and spoon close I still weigh my foods. When we go out always ask for steam veggie and no butter. No bread basket, order smallest steak or chicken no potato. But will order nothing on a small sweet potato if I have saved up my carbs. I try to eat most of my carbs early. Larger meals for lunch, light meal at night.
