Pan fried sea bass fillet with stir fried leeks, cabbage and peas

Tonights dinner: a sea bass fillet (145 cals) fried in 2ml olive oil (17 cals), shredded cabbage, leek and peas stir fried in olive oil and butter (102 cals), roasted butternut squash (56 cals).

Total meal: 320 calories....

You've got to taste the stir fried leeks, savoy cabbage and pea combo to believe how delicious it is! Best cooked slowly in a large lidded frying pan so that the cabbage and leek have lost most of their crunch.

I love sweet potato . Have you tried the 1 cal spray oil ? Was thinking that instead of ordinary oils I could use this .

I used to use spray oil a lot but I now prefer olive oil - I'm trying not to eat things with too many additives! I'd later have a little amount of something nice - so I cook using cream, butter, soured cream, Greek yogurt (full fat), etc.

Thank you :-) It's a long journey though and the weight loss is only the start - maintaining is hard work!

Maintaining . Haven't got to that stage yet . Your recipes though are brilliant . Could publish a book ? Don't like all these celebs . Need one from a real person .

Looks absolutely scrumptious. You have given me an idea for next week to feed the family. I have fish in the freezer.xxx

I believe you about the cabbage, leeks and peas. I bet that mixture was really sweet after all that slow frying :) This is my sort of meal completely :)
