Hi, yet another new one I am 53 disabled and I need to loose weight I came across this and saw what I liked so now just need a bit of guidance to get started. Your doing well, don't listen to negative people. Well done on loosing the stone, slow and steady is the best way forward. Keep focused and stay positive.

Well done 😀

Thanks for your kind words I will do my best

Great on that stone loss! It took me four months too. At least it's lower and it should stay off. Good luck to you!

I think a stone in four months is a very healthy rate. Crash diets are just temporary and you cannot back. Hang in there.

Hi,

I have spent time looking round the site today I'm confused as to what I have got to do from here, I had some things in and I have cut down and made a recepie for lunch the stuffed pittas they were lovely could have eaten 2. I have finished the shopping and bought some things for next week and told my husband that he needs to help me to choose what he wants to eat too.

I am having problems where to go for the weigh in part and what day do I go on, am I right in saying that you can do your own recepies so long as the calories are worked out?

I'm not going to be able to go on walks and jogs etc cus i'm disabled but I have a rowing machine and an exercise bike that has been converted so I push the pedals round, I do spa boxing twice a week for 45 mins and it is high impact, I have got a personal trainer. so I can row down the canal in my conservatory and the same with the bike too.

I just need to know where to go from here

Thanks

Hi Sugar,

Fist of all, did you follow the link to the Newbie Club? Did you read all the information in the header? It tells you where the weigh-in links are kept and you can choose which day of the week that you weigh-in.

For assistance with your menus, join the Daily Diary.

If you're following the NHS 12 week plan (link in the Newbie Club), then you can eat what you want, as long as you count calories. Get your calorie allowance from the NHS BMI calculator (link in Newbie Club).

You can join our exercise challenges, to record your kilometres and minutes that you've clocked up through the week. Links can be found in Pinned Posts.

I hope this helps :)
