Hi, I'm a newbie at the heaviest I've ever been. I lost 3 stone last year but put it all back on and more besides. I've been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so need to lose it and change my lifestyle. X

Welcome! Take each day and week as it comes, and why don't you give the low blood sugar diet a go? Essentially cut out carbs and really limit your calorie intake - the diet has been found to actually reverse Type 2 diabetes in some cases!

Best of luck on your journey!

I personally don't have Type 2 diabetes but am very conscious of it as I have a serious family history of it, so for me its currently preventative. Don't be disheartened if that specific diet doesn't work for you, at the end of the day however you lose the weight, if it works it works!

Welcome to the forum Totomax . Have a great first week and look forward to seeing you at next Sundays weigh in.👍😊

Hi

I really recommend the 8 week blood sugar diet book by Dr Michael Moseley. I reduced my blood sugar level from pre diabetic to normal. It’s a reAlly helpful book and the diet works
