Hi everyone ,just tuned in ...and committing myself to a healthier lifestyle.i am 21st and 11 lb.....that is a long journey..on my own..my weight as fallen hard on my mental state also my health is very poor.lots and lots of failed attempts ,diet classes ,also slimming tablets..they all work for awhile then comes a massive binge!!!....thing is im i on a last chance ?? FRIGHTENED!!!! SO HERE GO,S...i can do this...bless everyone on this same journey...may we all succeed...love Ginaxxxx

You should add "at the moment" to the end of the title of your post. You can do this. I am just over half way to where I need to be starting at 26 stone and just over 18 1/2 now. Believe me, if I can do it you certainly can. Good luck with your journey. James

At this stage I have only 2 pieces of advice. 1. Make a start and 2. Join in on the forum. We will help you along your journey, it really is a great group of people.

youve made a start already by joining this forum.. the support is brilliant here and better than any slimming club ive ever joined.. my advise .. pick a day to weigh in as logging your weight each week here on the forum makes you more determined & accountable.... also dont be afraid to log here when you have times when you put on weight as that is the time you need the support most.. i put on 5lbs this week and the support from my Sat weighin team was brilliant.. stick with us .. you can do this x

Have a good read of the Newbie Club that Yellowrose has directed you too :)

Are you going to follow the NHS 12 week plan? If you are try and have a good look in your food cupboards and freezer and jot down what calories are in a potion of what on a sheet of paper or spreadsheet as taking the time to do this really helps take less time when trying to work out meals ;)

Set yourself small achievable targets - I do half stone goals. I've amazed myself at what I've lost so far, having support makes such a difference and this forum is great!

I used to be the same weight as you,i lost over 4 stone,but then put most of it back on,but i started my weight loss again in june this year,i have lost 10 kg,i am on waiting list to have my gallbladder out ,i have other medical problems ,keep strong,we can this together,stay in touch with your progress.
