Can you help me set a weight loss target?

I am 165cm tall and weigh 18 stone. I would like to reduce my weight to 13 stone in order to conceive (ideally by next June). Is this a realistic target?

Could you help me set a calorie goal for myself? The NHS BMI calculator is confusing me. I walk 25 mins each way to work and back 5 days a week and am on my feet quite a bit throughout the day (teacher). Apart from a little strength training I don't do much exercise.

I also have a metabolic disorder so my calorie target needs to be about 400 cal less than the average person.

Thanks for any help!

5 stones in 8 months is realistic and what a motivating reason to reach your goal.

1827 to 2349 calories per day a woman of 165 height, 18 stone (of 30 years)

Cheering you on to reach your goals 🎉🎉🎉

Well done for joining here for this I joined for the same reason of conceiving by having ivf. My problem before joining the site was that I never ate enough calories in the past which was why I never lost weight on any diet I had done in the past as my body thought I was starving it and turned everything I ate into body fat and this weighs more than eating the extra calories does so it stops me from losing weight and sometimes puts weight on instead. It seemed weird to eat more to lose weight but as soon as I did this I finally started losing weight. Do make sure you eat between the amount of calories it tells you too, best to eat the higher amount as well as if you have problems you can drop amounts until you find the correct amount for you again. Good luck with your journey.
