Been a while...returning to what worked before...motivation please!

Well 2.5 years ago I lost 4 stone with NHS 12 week plan and support on here. I have now put on at least a stone (not weighing self at moment) due to a bad year with my back. I am having physio and waiting for hospital treatment. All my exercise had to stop (was going to gym and classes) I was slowly making progress again and now another back flare up. Also because getting fed up I am comforting eat and back on cycle of each day saying I will stop but just getting worse. So any support - words of motivation greatly appreciated as after all my hard work it is horrible to be struggling again and feeling so limited on the exercise. I need to stop the bad eating as well and break the cycle.

  • Wow, you lost four stone, inspirational! Sounds like you're determined to stop yourself putting it all back on too which is good.

    It is hard to convert a vicious cycle of eating bad food and feeling bad into a virtous one of eating well and feeling better, so wanting to eat well, but if you've done it before you'll know what works and just need that push to start again. Have you joined the daily diaries and a weigh-in to keep you motivated and accountable and be inspired? Sounds like you'd have a lot of good advice to share as well.
