Chester 5 k race

I've done it! My very first 5k race. And it was difficult.

I know we practice at least 10 k every Saturday and Sunday morning but I can say it is long. Scenery was gorgeous and the river busy with kayaks and other boats. But I've done it.

Again I was against ladies of years of experience and knew it was going to be difficult. Very friendly ladies with years of experience behind them.

All I kept thinking was 'yes, that's going to be me next year looking so relaxed before the big race'. I was very impressed with them.

I'm also happy to say I didn't capsize and I completed the 5k.

Hopefully I can slow down and catch up with everyone on here.

And I've maintained my weight nothing lost.

Cheers everyone x
