I'm new here and starting to climb the weight loss mountain! I managed it 15 years ago and lost 5 stone but guess what!? 3 stone are back on again! Our life style changed and my routines went out of the window. Our gorgeous G'Kids are our priority...we look after them 5 days a week.... but it does mean I'm nibbling and not exercising as rigorously as I used to. At 70, I now have severe (and painful) arthritis in my knee and am in line for a knee replacement and feeling very old! So my priority is to get as fit as possible before the op or incur the wrath of the surgeon for wasting his time! Please help!

Cheering you on to reach your goals 🎉🎉🎉
Oh Nainof4 I can so empathise with you. I'm doing my best to get fit and healthy before surgery, hopefully within the next three months for a prolapsed B and B. As an aging grandparent myself I know it's difficult to look after yourself when you're busy looking after them. But you've done it before and you CAN do it again. Do your best to plan your meals and if possible bulk cook and freeze so you always have something to fall back on when you're too busy to cook. I find logging my menu on the daily Diary thread keeps me focused and accountable.
Very best of luck.
