Help! 😞 Yeast infection?

Thyroid clear, bloods more than satisfactory. However I am showing all signs of a yeast infection "quite severely I might add" weight has still not changed despite going to toneacise several times a week too πŸ˜”

Bloating and gas is getting so much worse, feel fatigued more now, rash is driving me insane (mainly only after alcohol) so cutting it out completely now πŸ‘

Had a chronic tummy ache all day yesterday, started 8pm Friday night and have just woke up with a dull ache still 😒 I was doubled up yesterday, looked 6months pregnant, just can't pass wind it's so frustrating. Only ate 1 bacon roll and cuppa tea Friday and had yokebe shake with soya for Saturday breakfast and I was in agony all day πŸ˜₯ I am so fed up now. Been like this for a year and a half and I'm 30 years old. Constantly feeling ill, fat, tired, in pain, anxiety just makes it all worse. I've tried everything, now what do I do? 🐦

Sorry to hear about your medical problems and the pain you are in - What has your Dr said?

Please remember we are a weightloss forum and none of us are medically trained :) But we are here to support each other :)

Oh absolutely yes. Just nice to see if anyone else has similar symptoms and can maybe give advice.

Doctor says I'm fine, take antihistamines for rash, eat less move more. If I eat much less I'll pass out....just can not shift an inch! I don't care how much I weigh, the scales is mearly a number which means nothing to me. But I'd like to sort out this Bloating, if I did I reckon I could drop a dress size!! X

Are you calorie counting?

Have you done the NHS BMI calculator? If yes make sure you are eating mid to high range of those calories - and you shouldn't feel hungry and should lose weight too :)

I ate at the lower end to start and didn't lose anything as soon as I upped it I started to lose again :)

Not sure whaat to say about the bloating - sorry :)

Yep done all the bmi and calories, portion control, eliminating food, gluten free, low carb, vegetarian, I'm now trying lactose intolerance, I'm walking, I'm an active self employed cleaner, and go to toning classes at least 3 times a week. I drink green tea, lemon tea, peppermint and water only. I never eat sweets or chocolates.

I feel like a human Guinea pig atm all I do is experiment 😭 lol x

As Cracker says we are not medically trained. I can only speak from my experience. I get very bloated if I eat too much bread, pasta and certain vegetables one being broccoli. I now don't eat bread more than 3 times a week and usually only have one slice at a time. Pasta is something I love but only eat fortnightly if that. I have reduced my carbs significantly, rarely eat potatoes unless it's sweet potato and very little rice. I have found that makes a difference. Have you tried Deflatine for the trapped wind or even drinking peppermint tea? Are you lactose intolerant, my daughter is and has to be careful what she has, she can end up with tummy problems and become very bloated.

It may be a process of illumination to see what is causing your problem. Don't give up, try different foods and see what happens.

Good luck 😊

Just bought deflatine last night funnily enough. Didn't even know it existed.

18 months I've battled with this and my weight. I've kept food diary all that time and still no pattern at all. X

I suffer with IBS, I think I have found the combinations or the culprit food and then it all changes. I understand the frustration. I would suggest you drop the carbs and take a look at the very good link Hidden has sent you.

Do you think you could be changing / experimenting too quick to give one thing a chance to work? Do something for 2 weeks and see how that goes before trying something else :)

Just a suggestion :)

Over 18 months I probably stick to each for 2 months or so

So I definitely can't be changing too quick.

Hi, I have similar issues to be honest but I am hypothyroid. Get a print out of your thyroid results, it's your right to have that legally for your own records because they tell you it's fine here until you are really really poorly. Weight gain and bloated stomach was the first sign for me and they left me years before it was diagnosed. Cutting out sugar really helps. It's difficult but it has a massive effect. Also white carbs. All carbs convert to sugar in the body. But I eat a small amount of whole grain with a protein to counter act it, so I don't get sugar spikes. I am terrible after white rice and bread. I now avoid most processed foods. Also have they done a gluten intolerance test on you as it could be that? Also try and eat as many healthy foods as possible and avoid processed foods. It can be a slow process of elimination.

You could also ask for a diabetes test as being pre diabetes can have this effect. Same as being hypothyroid though really they don't diagnose it until you are pretty bad with it.

You should also have your antibodies checked during a thyroid test as many have raised antibodies. Those with raised antibodies have a condition called hashimotos which is a thyroid condition where raised antibodies attack the thyroid gland and many have glucose intolerance with it. Sometimes cutting out gluten helps lower the antibodies.

I have already done all these things but thank you very much for your help x

Hi, I am lactose intolerant and you sound just like me when I have any dairy. When I first found out and cut out dairy the weight just fell off. If I have any now, I get a huge tummy and I feel like I have wind but nothing ever happens! It's very painful when this happens but easy to avoid with all the Free From products that are around now. Good luck!

That sounds like a plan, I couldn't go to work today I've been in so much pain, not good when you own your own business 😞 I will try dairy free.

Thank you x
