Making new friends

Hi - I was wondering how many people would find it helpful, if there was a facility on this site to join informal local groups that meet up for specific things such as weight loss and exercise of various types. I think this site shows that many people need the support of others to achieve their goals and it would be a great way of meeting new friends and addressing the anxiety caused by modern living. (Which can be the cause of weight gain in the first place)

Hi WollyPolly if you click on your icon of your name, you can then select the drop down of "people near me" and if you choose to contact them there is the private messaging option in the "messages" option..

I hope this helps to answer your query regarding local options.

You could - if you wanted add a post of an exercise challenge as long as it's not duplicating an existing one in the "pinned interests"

It doesn't seem to work ......but I am on my phone does that make a difference? I get a drop down menu but nothing about people near me. Xx
