Emotional eater

Hi all, I'm new to this group and looking for some support to cut the junk food cravings. I have have had a stressful year, juggling studying, working full time and being a mum which meant that the only way I could get through it emotionally was with food. I am now much more settled in a permanent job and feel like now is the time to sort myself out and get back to the gym. Putting weight on has affected my joints too so I am keen to lose some weight to ease this. Any tips or just general encouragement from anyone in a similar position would be greatly appreciated 😊

    I think you'll find that many of us are emotional eaters and can empathise with you. I'm sorry to hear that you've had such a stressful year, but am pleased that you've come through the other side, ready to do battle :)
