For my breakfast I had a spinach and cod fishcake. Cals 317. Fat 17.1 Protein 12.3.
This was at 7 am this morning. It is now 12 noon and I still don't feel hungry. Do you think is a good choice ? (37 cals over the 280 suggested.)

I haven't ever had fish for breakfast but if you like it is a good choice. I think you need to decide how to space put your calories to suit you. Some people get hungry in the evening so save calories for that. I rarely eat after 7pm so would tend to eat a bigger breakfasts particularly at weekends.
The past three lunchtimes, I've been eating tinned sardines with salad (plus beetroot and olives, drizzled with salad cream). That's been really keeping me full until dinner time in the evening!
I'm sure it has a lot to eat with WHAT you eat as well as the calories.
I never would choose a high carb (cereal, toast) breakfast as it leaves me staving by late morning!
Who suggested 280 calories? I have 350-400 for breakfast.
Any protein is good, I would have had some carbs too but there maybe were some in th fish cake 😊
