Kicking The K's Sunshine Mini Challenge

Kicking The K's Sunshine Mini Challenge

Although I may not receive many points, due to the lack of sunshine, nor for good looks, I thought I'd contribute to the current challenge.

I hope it also helps explain my reduced presence on the forum in recent months, since this is how I've been spending my evenings instead:

How lovely to be able to jog along the beach in the evening. Brilliant photo and I like your little friend!

Thanks Rose.

From April to October, barefoot running becomes a hobby of mine, as I find it far more comfortable than running in trainers. As such, I'll run upon the sand of the shoreline and the concrete footpath above, continually lapping my wife, as she walks our two dogs on an area of the beach where dogs are allowed.

Glad to hear it, 13Valerie.

You certainly cannot beat a little seaside air, to relax and unwind after a day at work.

Moreover, if you also live close to the beach and run regularly, leave your flip flops in the car and go for a barefoot run.

As for my dogs, the one you see in the picture largely disgraces herself while she's out, barking at every other dog in sight. Since she's 11 year old, though, I very much doubt she'll change.

Whoo hoo !! Go MrNiceGuy 😊🎉👏

Fantastic photo and well done you on the running 😊

I can see your shadow so it must be sunny so that's 400 bonus points for you 😊

Thanks Anna.

I didn't think I'd receive any points, since this evening was largely overcast, despite still being warm enough to visit the beach.

Yes, running in the evenings largely keeps me occupied during summer months, hence my absence from the forum.

Thanks blackbeauty99.

It's long been a favourite past-time of mine (over 20 years), with the sand acting as a natural exfoliant for the skin.

Due to the overcast sky, the beach was largely deserted yesterday evening, other than people walking their dogs, meaning I had the shoreline all to myself, which certainly was great.

As for my furry friend, let's just say that she's far prettier than I, even if she is neurotic.

Hi MrNiceGuy,

This is a great entry - you're active and fit on that beach - hope you enjoy many more sunny evenings to run over the Summer.
