I decided to buy a set of bathroom scales yesterday just to frighten myself and I was most surprised to find I weighed less than I thought.
The last time I weighed in was last June when I had my heart problem, I weighed 112kg (17 stone 9 pounds).
After almost 12 months of inactivity, an unhealthy love of cheese and red wine (usually bought by the box) I was sure I was closer 19 stone if not more but..... wow...... I'm pleased. I now weigh 17 stone 9½,
The target weight I am aiming for is 13 stone so I can once again wear the belt from my Navy uniform of the 80's, it's going to be a long journey but I am determined.
My problem is I seem to be below the daily target calories of 1930, maybe I should top it up with a glass or three of red.
