Pushing water ๐Ÿ’ฆ up hill ๐Ÿ” stress

Today I'm totally stressed over my weight loss journey. Thoughts like 'whats the point?', going through my head.

I go in, I get weighed and then get told I've put pounds on. I'm sticking to the slimmimg world diet and I know logically that summer is here so I altermatically put more water weight on but....., it's a bit disheartening to see everyone losing weight while I gain.

I take my water pills like a good little patient and still while the sun is shinning I'm gaining water weight. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

My Slimming World group are amazing but I can't help feeling a little down and apprehensive over going tonight. I want the scale to go down, not up.

  • It can be very disheartening when the scales don't move serenityjcm butbwithout knowing more about what you are eating it's difficult to comment. Why don't you join the Daily Diary and give details of a typical days eating and maybe we can come up with some suggestions?

  • From memory, the SW diet is very high carb and carbs have a tendency to retain water. You may prefer to follow a different eating plan and join the Daily Diary, as Anna has suggested :)
