Help with my weight loss!!

Hey guys I've had to children over the last 2 years and put on so much weight it's unreal I need to lose 4-5 stones and have no motivation when kids make me tired I eat. Please help.

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Have a look at the Daily Diary which you can find on the Home page in Events. It is where all the members are sharing their daily plans on what they are eating and any exercise they are doing. This thread will give you some ideas on how to start.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us today. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Hi well done for coming on here, its really good and people so friendly, take each milestone as they come, instead of telling yourself you need to lose 4 stone, say set a milestone for the first stone, get to that and go from there, i am the worst ever to diet but this forum and the NHs diet has really make me stick to it, i got 3 stone to lose, what ive been doing is planning in advance so just then you buy what you need, but i eat whatever the family eat just small portions, i can understand your tired with two small children, what about walking with the children, i being doing walking to the park, taking a salad with me, which you could do with the children. and taking plenty of fruit.I find planning what i eat every day is better as i dont snack so much. Before i would make every excuse not to excise so now i just go for a walk, and i feel so much better in myself and not so moody.Theres a 7 min app which is good for beginners. Hope you find this advise ok, but you can do it. Just set small goals, and little treats, every pound i lose ive been putting in a pot so i can buy smaller clothes. Good Luck...

Baby steps!! I've only been on the forum a week and a half but the continuous support is amazing. I'm setting my first goal at 10 lbs. then going from there. I've just started keeping track of every bite. It's a pain but I think I snack without realizing otherwise and go over my allowed cals. Welcome and best of luck with your first week.
