Got weighed today and lost another 1lb, that's now a stone since I started about 7 weeks ago, I'm so pleased. The only thing that's bothering me is I've only lost 1lb a week the last two weeks. I suppose at least it's a loss and not again and it's going in the right direction, but when somebody says to you, I thought you'd have lost more than that it's a bit disheartening. I'm still sticking to my 10,000+ steps a day, can't believe I'm actually sticking to it for once. Thanks for all the motivating posts I read of your journeys every day, I know I don't always post but am an avid reader of everybody else's journey.
Yipee lost my first stone: Got weighed today... - Weight Loss NHS
Fantastic post mellina39 well done on your stone lost. A new badge coming your way no doubt? Have you requested it?
I wouldn't agree that it's slow, we are all different, it's taken me 4 months to loose 7pounds.. Now that can be called slow 😂😂😂. My tape has been kind, but the scales not so much!
It's the whole journey that's important, some weeks we win on the scales, some weeks the tape measure is kind.. Some weeks we just learn some more info about making healthy choices.. As long as we keep going and learning from each other on the forum and in life.. We are going to succeed.. So celebrate your success.. Are you going to have a non-food reward?
To celebrate my little milestone, I have ordered a hula hoop from the "inter-web" as my hubby calls it!!
Cheering you on.. perseverance is yours.. Enjoy your success 🎉🎉🎉
You'll be getting yours soon, you're doing well. Didn't think I'd get this far because I have a strong love of cakers not just as an eater but as a baker of them, so I've had to swap that hobby now for another as I would be very tempted to sample them lol.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the encouragement.
That's fantastic well done on losing a stone 🏆🏆
Don't let other people worry you, 1-2 lb a week loss is a very healthy way to lose weight and you are definitely more likely to maintain your weight this way.
Your doing fantastic keep it up 💪🏆🎉
A stone in 7 weeks is marvellous mellina39 don't listen to the naysayers. Slow and steady loss is by far the best way to go. The weight went on slowly and we have to train our bodies to get it off slowly too. It has to be sustainable if we are to say goodbye to the weight for good.
Very well done for getting 10,000+ steps in per day - that is magnificent.
May I suggest you give yourself a huge pat on the back and feel very proud of what you have done and intend to do. Good that you are reading the forum messages, it is good for the rest of us if you join in the discussions, we can learn loads from you.
