Surgeries and Stupidity

I have just weighed in - yuk - and am ready to go. 7lbs sounds quite a lot to lose in 4 weeks, but I am really going to give it a go. Weetabix (2) plus measured amount of skimmed milk awaits. Delish!!! I have measured 300ml skimmed milk in a jug so I can check how much of it I drink in tea and coffee and on cereal.

I think 7lbs should be quite achievable to lose in 4 weeks.... That's about 1.5 - 2lbs a week?

Weetabix was my "go to" cereal, but if you find yourself feeling a little peckish mid morning, you may want to consider trying to eat some protein for breakfast - for example two hard boiled or fried eggs (no toast), full-fat Greek yogurt with some berries (frozen ones are nice when defrosted or warmed in the microwave first), kippers (if you like them and have time!), and one of my new discoveries is full-fat cottage cheese with some tinned fruit such as peaches and apricots?

If you do need to have carbs (and some of us won't feel satisfied without them!) then ensure you go for whole wheat cereal, bread or steel cut oats (made into porridge).

Here's a page that gives you more information about trying to up proteins for breakfast....
