weight keeps going up and down

I have been eating heathy since August and I had lost 2 stone, then I gained a stone, (no clue how), then lost it again,then just found out I have regained it.. I was hoping I would have lost a few stone by now. I only have 5 months before I have to attend a friends wedding, and I am in need to lost 6 stone or more to be in the " healthy " zone :-(

Two questions I have are what is your understanding of healthy eating and what did you do differently at the times when you lost weight compared to the times you were unaware what your weight was?

I stopped smoking,drinking alcohol..been off both since june 2016, then cut out chocolate ,cakes ,crisps..which I found harder than the smoking..lol

Can I ask how your are keeping a check on what you are eating and how many calories do you have a day?

I would suggest that you have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan and use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

You can find the 12 week plan on the Home page on the right hand side.

Join one of our

daily weigh ins to keep you accountable with what you are eating. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

hi. I was on the plan but felt that a lot of the foods,i dod not enjoy, so I ate well but with a calorie check every time..i have now (2 weeks ago,for my birthday) bought a exercise bike,to help
