Hi, I am new to this, just started today, I like the idea of having the food I want but staying within calories for the day. I have tried everything and when i'm told I can't have something that's it!! 12 weeks x 2 pound a week = healthy lifestyle and a very happy me..and lower blood pressure, which is the main reason for me starting this new lifestyle change.

Welcome to this forum ChangeMe hope you enjoy yourself while with us. This site is amazing. For me it is the first weightloss that I have felt comfortable with, never thought of leaving and stuck with for more than three months. Please don't be afraid to ask anything as there will always be someone else that will be likely to have an answer for you. Good luck with your weightloss, you can do this. 🎉👏🌹
Welcome ChangeMe.
Like you I started because it was all about portion control and not removing foods that you like.
One tip... its great to have a final goal but try giving yourself a mini goal (e.g. 7lbs for a badge... just something that makes sense to you). It can help make the journey less daunting and provides a great sense of achievement when you reach it.
Good luck.
The most successful dieters (hate that word!) plan each day and preferably each week as far as food goes.
Once you know exactly what your good plan is for the day you can juggle your calories to fit in foods you want.
