hiya I am a newbie, I have been doing sw but have a hit a block and am struggling with my weight. I hate the look in a mirror I have one in my house and I feel lucky I am short so you cannot see much of me in it. my boyfriend always tells me I look nice and am beautiful, but I just never feel it and always shoot down his compliments. I have a horse but lives out so do not have mucking out to do and ride almost everyday. But on top of that I am a domicilary carer and stuggle to have set meal times, I eat after 10 if I am working evenings and during the day is usually a quick grab of anything! really looking to find my mojo to get this weigh off!

Hi hhobin

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

SW.. I'm doing that the moment but hit a bit of a block... I've lost 10lbs in three months.. how did you get on with SW?

The first time was over 3 years ago and i lost nearly 3 stone in 2 years. But i had an office job at the time so was easier!

This time I started just before xmas and i lost half stone and have just put it all back on!! I am currently in the middle of changing companies but will still be doing shift work :/ im always tired as i do a 46hr minimum werk at work up to nearly 60hrs so never feel like cooking properly or having a weeks prep.

You could always tell when monies was tunning out as well as the beginning of the month was fine, lost weight well and would slow at the end of the month 😂 X

It's hard isn't it... to be honest there isn't an easy way to loose weight. But if we are always heading for the same goal, I'm sure we will get there.
